#StoneonSunday Enlarge this at look at the white squiggles within the polished surface of the polished black limestone. Looking like snowdrops (hence the name of the stone: Snowdrop Marble) they are slices through fossil brachiopods. One of Wales' least-known marbles.

This looks like subsidence where the building settles, but the bay section or ‘column’ doesn’t settle at the same rate. BTW, these wood frames been there so long that it might be possible to nominate them for listing 😀

There are news articles including this carving on a forklift, yet on here there are deadly serious posts about it being proof of aliens. I can’t recall if it’s the hollow earthers or the Tartarians. BTW, modern carvings are very common on very old buildings.
