A cwtch from Prof Liz Lloyd at Paul Willis ‘send-off’. Wonderful speeches from A May Cameron and the social work team that made us cry. Lovely and fitting ‘adieu’.

What I’ve observed locally is a commissioner who felt the future of learning disability services should be based largely on a ‘cafe and trips out’ model and showed councilors a video to ‘prove it’. Most Councilors with no real knowledge of the issues were persuaded.
