We were very lucky to find a late blooming Pink Mimosa plant at CATPAW RANCH in Concan TX. It was in full bloom and was a beautiful site. #pinkmimosa #blooming #blooms #nature #naturephotography

While we were out a CATPAW RANCH, we noticed this Red Harvester Ant Bed. These large ants can bite with the large jaws. CAUTION: Do Not Put Finger Down the Hole!!! #ANTS #nature #naturephotography #insects

This is a better photo of the Water Trough Frogs on CATPAW RANCH. I thought I would publish this image to show that water brings a diversity of life where water is present. #frogs #nature #naturephotography #water #biodiversity

This image was taken a John Ford Point in Monument Valley. There are horse stables there and you can have your picture take on the horse with the magnificent vista behind you. There was a line of people out to the left of the horse and I could not position myself to get the

While we were at Monument Valley, we got to visit a Navajo Hogan. A traditional Navajo dwelling constructed of branches and tree bark and covered with mud or sod, with a doorway facing east. Maintained and used by modern Navajo people for religious and cultural ceremonies.

These photos are of Big Hogan Arch in Monument Valley. As you approach the arch, you can see a water stain and rock features that form a head with pony tail. Our guide took us inside the archway and pointed to the Eagles Head. The hole in the center of the arch forms the eye

While we were in Bryan, TX for the Big Barn Dance, we drove around looking for birds. I was fortunate enough to capture a pair of Yellow-billed Cuckoos exhibiting Gifting Behavior. #birdphotography #birding #bryantx

I took this photo at the Ear of the Wind arch in Monument Valley. I had to climb up the side of a cliff for a short ways to capture the view through the Y shaped branches of the dead juniper tree. #monumentvalley #landscapephotography #arches #navajo #navajotribalpark

This image is of the San Juan River as it meanders over 6 miles but only travels for 1.5 miles distance as the crow flies. This is Goosenecks State Park in Mexican Hat, Utah. There is another switchback in the rivers course but I did not have a wide enough lens to capture it.

We drove over to Cedar Mesa and drove up on top to get a view of the night sky. This image is of the Milky Way as seen from that location. The red light streaks are planes in flight. The shutter was open for about 15 seconds. #nightphotography #milkyway #StarsEverywhere

This is a 7 shot HDR, 4 Panel Panorama of Cedar Mesa near Mexican Hat, Utah. This is the location where I shot the Stars and Planes Milky Way image and the Starry Night Milky Way photo. Easily accessible and not to many tourist since it is primitive camping. A great location
