Found this huge Map Turtle outside the banding lab last night! By the length of the claws and tail and just general size we think it’s a female, so probably off to lay some eggs 🤞

Tell me this isn’t the the prettiest bat you’ve ever seen 😍 this Hoary Bat is the biggest bat in Canada and was lucky enough to get a Motus tag this morning to track their migration routes Long Point Bird Obs.
