A quick trip to the tip of Long Point yesterday, interesting to see how much it’s changed since I was there in 2019. Sad to see the lighthouse keepers house gone but still full of amazing wildlife 🥰

Found this huge Map Turtle outside the banding lab last night! By the length of the claws and tail and just general size we think it’s a female, so probably off to lay some eggs 🤞

Only my second ever Ribbon Snake and first at Long Point, think the other was in Bruce Penisula! Oh and a mammoth Snapping Turtle… what a beast! 🐢
