According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, water-harvesting and water conservation techniques can boost rainfed kilocalorie production by up to 24% and up to 40%, if combined with irrigation expansion.

With increased demand for #water , #food and #energy , a #sustainablemanagement approach is necessary to meet the needs of everyone, everywhere, preserve nature and improve economies.
