Also, I realized a long-standing dream: skiing and playing golf on the same day! Bishop Country Club is a delight and, despite my creakiness, I pounded a few drives that flew forever in the thin air.

At 83, my Dad is still an elegant skier. But he hadn’t been to the snow all winter because he was getting radiation for prostrate cancer. (He beat it!) A ski trip to his fave, MammothMountain, was the carrot that got him back in the gym to regain his strength. Thankful.
