My district’s 2024 NonProfit of the Year is Daly City’s Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Ctr! Their work empowering the Filipino community is so impactful. “Bayanihan” in Tagalog means unity towards 1 goal without asking for anything in return. That spirit embodies this organization.

Thx to the Senate Housing Committee for passing my bill, #AB2967 , which expands the Teacher Housing Act. It would make teachers/employees of publicly-funded early childhood, TK & afterschool programs eligible for teacher housing. They too are a vital part of our education system.
