.@imran_posts . Thank you. I tried to count at the peak of the chanting and I’d say it was quite a bit more than 50. There wasn’t much else going on, and noise and activity draw a crowd.

It says here that the Oxford Gaza protestors believed I was a ‘threat’ when 70 of them surrounded me and chanted slogans at me, while refusing to converse or debate.. It really does. Goodness me.

.@ mescalum . Call it what you like. Language is not regulated by law. But it was the violent, lawless and unconstitutional overthrow of a democratically-elected head of state - made worse because early elections were on offer. A squalid, immoral and indefensible action.

I often write articles in the MoS and DM which dissent from the editorial policies of the papers .@datoge193678. I don’t, as it happens, support these protests because I do not sympathise with the policies of Fatah which are promoted by them.

Actually most ofthe slogans were political endorsements of Fatah or even Hamas positions ‘ Free, Free Palestine!’ and ‘From the River to the sea!’ The first is an absurdity. Fatah rule is anything but free. The second is implicit endorsement of ethnic cleansing. .Rob
