🚦We’re told an 18-wheeler driver didn’t suffer serious injuries in this collision on I-77/Bluff Rd. shortly before 7 p.m. Area to reopen after clean-up. It’s believed another vehicle crossed over the lane, striking the big rig. Thank you Columbia-Richland Fire Department Richland County Sheriff's Dept. for helping us on scene.

🚦The #ColumbiaPDSC Traffic Safety Unit is investigating a hit & run incident involving a male pedestrian at the intersection of Rosewood & S. Gregg Streets. Shortly before 7 a.m., passersby found the man & called 9-1-1. At last check, the pedestrian was in serious condition.

#Update2 - During Vergil Glover's bond hearing today, a judge revoked a previous bond set for him on charges from Richland County Sheriff's Dept.. The new #ColumbiaPDSC charges against him will be presented in General Sessions Court at a later date. Until then, Glover will remain at the ASGDC.
