Personally, I think news attention shouldn't be on snobs drinking cans in tents in Trinity and breaking the law for acceptable attention, and should be on actual on people dying.

How more towns don't do this is beyond me. I think of my own home in Athy. Place with a stunning castle, lovely square, nice river and canal, but literally nothing allowed outside walls of pubs and cafes. What a shame and a waste to locals and the economy. Same all over.

One of the things that made me proud to be Irish was neutrality and peace. We've an outsized weight in modern world and should have used it to be brutal and unerring in a search for ceasefires in Gaza and Ukraine. Instead, we didn't. That is a terrible waste of what we should be.

This is the problem with Tik Toc politics. Sure, most people have strong opinions on this. And they should. But at a ballot box people want solutions to their own struggles, not what is trending.

The standard of Waterford-Tipperary so far is atrocious. I get you've to claim Munster hurling games are intense and amazing and what not, but the skill set is woeful here. The amount of basic mistakes would be maligned elsewhere.

Why is the Book of Kells in Trinity? Shouldn't one of our most famous documents be in a national museum, as opposed to being used by a taxpayer-recieving business to drive profit? Now would seem a good time to remove what is ours to help people as opposed to help elites.

My views on Palestine are well known. However, I always get the feeling that Irish college kids just copy what the US does for attention rather than any greater good. Trinity looks bad too but not really sure how cans in a tent in Dublin and four deck chairs against a door help.

Things the next government need to do.
1. Proper immigration structure.
2. Get rid of carbon taxes.
3. Remove USC.
4. Reduce fuel taxes.
5. Get rid of chunk of civil service.
6. Stop all funding to advocacy NGOs.
7. Scrap HSE and run health properly given budget.
8. Houses.

Sinn Fein bemoaning violence? Ps this is what you get with them. Pointing at a fringe to ignore fair wishes of vast majority and skirt around the real issue. Cheap and easy politics and more of the same.
