I think the table is more additional than evolutive, in that some of the values, constituencies and techniques from earlier periods are still present today (except maybe computer cards and calculators😂).

In other words, it is helpful for delivery of flyway conservation if it is not too tightly defined but is highly inclusive, meaning different things to different people. The more the merrier, everyone chipping in according to their own objectives, expertise and means.

The term #flyways helps coordinate scientific research & communication, monitoring & management of waterbirds. We used concept of a ‘boundary object’ to see how it became central to common efforts with multiple meanings for the actors it connects.

We see some 'taymyrensis' in spring/autumn, passing through to/from Siberia.
Other Siberian birds 'yamalensis' winter on coast of Arabian Sea.
