Dili, 21 - 22 August 2023 - CVTL is facilitating the two-day training on gender-based violence for 18 women, including pregnant woman, from Lahane Osidental village, Vera Cruz, Dili Municipality.
This training was carried out as a result of funding from IOM in Timor-Leste.

Covalima, 22/08/2023, CVTL's Covalima Branch conducted information dissemination on disaster prevention (Especially about strong winds and flooding) by going door-to-door in the village of Taroman and Belulik Leten.
This program is funded by IOM in Timor-Leste.

.Shandra Woworuntu of Mentari USA is a courageous survivor of trafficking in persons and an ardent advocate of counter-trafficking. She is in Timor-Leste this week to raise awareness on safe mobility & cross border issues. Our Chief of Mission Ihma Shareef was honoured to meet her.

Eugenia decided to work abroad and became the primary earner to support her family.

10/08/2023 - Oecusse, 10 volunteers (Female - 8, and Male -2) from CVTL's Oecusse Branch conducted information dissemination on disaster prevention (Especially about strong winds and flooding) by going door-to-door in the village of Naimeko, Pante Makassar Sub-Regional, RAEOA.

IOM Timor-Leste works in the most hard to reach communities so they can have access to #health care, by going to these areas and conducting active TB screening & referrals along with the family health community workers. Removing barriers for #migrant & mobile populations.
