We’ve made it to our final stop of the day — the U.S. Air Force Memorial. The memorial honors the service and heritage of the men and women of the Air Force and offers stunning views of the Washington, D.C. skyline. #HonorFlightTLH
At Arlington National Cemetery, Veterans and Guardians witnessed the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and paid respects to the thousands who have given their lives for our freedom. #HonorFlightTLH
It may be raining but that doesn’t stop our Veterans! We just finished up at the Marine Corps War Memorial, which depicts the raising of the American flag during the Battle of Iwo Jima on February 23, 1945. #HonorFlightTLH
At the Lincoln Memorial, our Veterans are enjoying the 19-foot-tall marble statue of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. #HonorFlightTLH
