J'ai eu l'occasion de visiter le centre d'accès du Collège Boréal où on offre plusieurs programmes dont les formations linguistique. Le personnel dévoué m'a expliqué qu'ils offrent de nombreuses méthodes de livraison de programme pour répondre au besoins des nouveaux arrivants.

So inspiring to go on the tour of the Metalworks Institute & Metalworks Recording Studios in my riding of Mississauga Centre. The school offers a variety of creative programs including audio, live sound, entertainment, music performance & technology.

I enjoyed spending time with my colleagues in Mississauga for the 3rd annual Run for Mississauga! This extraordinary event brought the community together but also raised funds to donate to the THP foundation!

260K Ontarians are living with Alzheimer’s & Related Dementias. Ontario is home to incredible state of the art facilities & research hubs including Baycrest Centre Hospital 🏥. Laura Smith & I toured Baycrest & learned more about the continuum of care available for adults.

I was thrilled to attend a vibrant evening full of music, history & celebration to mark the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between 🇵🇱 & 🇨🇦. Very grateful to the Consulate General of 🇵🇱 for hosting but also for growing meaningful collaboration between our nations.

I attended the Peel Children's Aid Society reception. In October, the CAS’s across #Ontario raise awareness about the importance of supporting vulnerable children, youth & families through Dress Purple Day campaign.
Peel Children's Aid Society has received 2 grants from Ontario Trillium Foundation to further grow their amazing work.

I am devastated to have learned about the news that came out this week regarding South Simcoe Police officers Constable. Devon Northrop and Constable. Morgan Russell who were killed in the line of duty.

My thoughts and prays go out to their family, friends, and all police members.

Today I join UNICEF in promoting a global day of action for girls right known as The International Day of the Girl Child.
