Q2 Can AV technicians be effectively managed by a person who does not possess their technical skill or experience? What are the +/- of people in AV being managed by people with similar experience? Is Sales the only exception or is their another?

Q4 Define career development from a 'Company' perspective. How does that differ from the employee's perspective? Where is the disconnect? Do employers still have a hard time providing training due to fears of their people being poached by competitors?

Q5 In your career: Have you witnessed more promotions from within, hiring from outside or people leaving for that promotion? If attracting talent is a problem, logically keeping that talent should be focus. Right? BTW the counter offer is not a retention plan. What is?
