Upper Teesdale Last night at dusk.
Driving West into the crisp clear set sun skyline was so beautiful & timeless, like being in a movie reel.

Sitting a clutch of 7 where she ousted an incubating Tawny last season (owl egg broke in the fracas as I view from inside a Dipper tunnel nearby !)

Grey Wagtails are also negatively impacted by all the rains.
Only one complete clutch & other nests under construction including a stone alcove we made to counter previous roof falls in a tunnel & another in a medieval bridge where i first saw them as a bairn c1979

Comparing 2 waterways, 1 a Burn the other a Beck (we live where the 2 name adjoin) we saw nests
