Finally got around to reading this by Simon Jarrett. It’s excellent & I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about society’s shifting attitudes towards learning disability over the last 300 years &, crucially, how this can inform a more inclusive future society.

A really good point here about the legacy of social anxiety about learning disability that the Victorians have passed on
