We are kicking off Day 2 of the Africa Digital Health Summit a technical session on Leveraging digital Innovation to strengthen early warning systems for early detection of outbreaks using an ecosystem approach. The session is led by Dr Emmanuel Agogo #ADHS2024

Our Steering Committee member Njide Ndili and Project Coordinator Tomiwa Akinsanya had the great opportunity to speak to the Nigeria State Minister for Health Dr Tunji Alausa about our work on digital first health systems at the Africa Digital Health Summit 2024 Africa Digital Health Summit.

Young people’s voices and perspective truly matter in the design and governance of digital first health systems (DFHS). Digital Transformations for Health Lab and PharmAccess hosted the regional DFHS youth consultation at the Africa Digital Health Summit and it was a pleasure leading it’s coordination and implementation.

Echoing the importance of creating inclusive health systems our Founding Member Njide Ndili emphasized that young people are the highest adopters of mobile technology hence, their health priorities need to be captured in the design of digital health technologies.
