Yesterday, Stephen Lecce announced the largest competitive energy procurement in ON history, with a focus on affordable energy. Unlike the Liberals, we’re working with local communities to deliver affordable energy without imposing a punitive carbon tax. 🔗 news.ontario.ca/en/release/100…

Today’s #SeniorsFair was a great success! Together with Doug Downey, I had the joy of connecting with local seniors, community services and resources. We also welcomed Raymond Cho, who came to The City of Barrie to share his lifehack for youth and longevity.

Earlier this summer, Oliver and I had the amazing opportunity to join the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre to release a clutch of 11 snapping turtle hatchlings. Injured turtles around ON find their way to this centre where trained volunteers look after them and ensure a safe release back home.

Today, Batteux Park The City of Barrie was renamed in honour of OPP Constable Grzegorz “Greg” Pierzchala. His legacy will live on, as residents of Barrie and surrounding areas enjoy this beautiful place, named after our local fallen hero. His life will always be an inspiration.
