I love this clip. Accountability is what he is demanding from his team mates. For many, accountability is a dirty word, one that we like in our lives when it is easy or convenient. What if accountability was part of our day to day lives? What a better place we would all be!

Could not agree more. Competitive drive gets fed by putting oneself in frequent competitive environments. Not just ten Friday night contests each year.

This is why the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has a formal program for training up and providing “Character Coaches”. These coaches are focused on the character lessons sports offer, not the X’s and O’s or skill development. Recruit one today to work for your team.

Coaches - Pray for your players! • The great ones • The “not yet” great ones • The “average” ones • The coachable ones • The “hard to reach” ones • The ones who never talk back • The ones who DO talk back And when you’re done PRAYING for them… SERVE THEM!

Players who do their own thing in the weight room, will do their own thing in games. You want your coaches (and teammates), to know that you’re fully committed, and ALL IN?! Show up early, do the team workouts, go above & beyond, and empower others to do the same!

Been focusing on a lot in my own life on servant leadership. Pretty cool to see the parallel between a message to the Villanova national championship team before their final four game (from “Attitude” by Jay Wright), and the message from Jesus in John 13. Humility is strength

FCA ministry opportunities have outgrown our capacity! FCA needs additional teammates to work in the Upper Susquehanna Valley. How about you? Is God calling you to a career of significance?

Fathers - The next time you think about putting in a few extra hours at work, spending more time breaking down film, taking that extra shift so you can afford to buy your child some extravagant gift, please remember that what they need more than anything,… is YOU!

As a former offensive lineman I love this post. For me, playing this position was a privilege every day. How about for you?

I got this quote a few minutes ago. It’s also Friday in the Fall which means football! Want to make football even more special? Coach or play for the glory of the one who has a plan and purpose for your life!

Not the result the warriors wanted today, but I got to see and coach against my high school coach, Todd Tilford. He was one of the main reasons I got into coaching and teaching. Many people in our lives influence us for the better, he was one. chris masse Todd Andrew Hummel

In an interview with GQ, Marvin Harrison Jr. was asked what his secret ingredient was to help him perform on the field. “My Bible. I continue to pray, to pursue my faith as much as I can outside of football.” And then he was asked what he wants his legacy to be. “I don't

Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly;I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow on my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

When I asked Michigan Football heart and soul Blake Corum how he prepares mentally for each game, he reached in to his back pack for the book he reads every morning! He is rooted in faith and this bible is his peace.

Giving honor and glory where it is due. When I think of my own life, do I do the same? We don’t have to be a head NFL coach or win playoff games to give God what he deserves. Let’s praise him in the ordinary of each day.

At ten, broke my femur playing this in named game in the school play ground. Learned on that day my running back days were over…..
