As part of #Travellerpride BTAP's Education team have held events in St Setons, St Raphaels, St Gabriel's and St Michael's schools in Ballyfermot.

BTAP Traveller Pride Week ended with a celebration in the Mansion House of the 60th anniversary of the cherry orchard eviction of the Traveller community. We heard reflections from Travellers who lived through the event and Grattan Puxton who was an ally Pavee Point Irish Traveller Movement

BTAP and Tusla Tusla - Child and Family Agency.ie hosted a Family Support Fair for the Traveller Community in Ballyfermot. The fair showcased family supports funded or directly supplied by Tusla. Over the course of the morning we had over 70 members of the Traveller community visit the event.

As we said before the Local Election Phil Sutcliffe and Niall Boylans Independent Ireland Party are not so independent. They have joined the renew Group in the EU along with Fianna Fail. Independent my arse. In most cases a vote for independent is a vote for FG and FF.

Today we had the local launch of "hearing the voice of Ballyfermot Traveller Children" by the Ombudsman for Children. The report sets out Ballyfermot Traveller children's views on services they encounter everyday. It also states the pride they have in their culture
