CPSU National Secretary, Melissa Donnelly, wrote an opinion piece on the right to disconnect using some of the good work by Centre for Future Work at the Australia Institute re unpaid overtime.

Today is Equal Pay Day. Thanks to the tireless campaigning of union members, the gender pay gap has decreased to a record low of 11.5%, and we won't rest until the job is finished.

The Set the Standard report outlined serious issues within Parliament House, including bullying, sexual assault, harassment and discrimination. It's good to see progress being made on implementing those recs. For there to be serious change, there must be serious consequences.

More #CSIRO jobs on the chopping block, with management confirming that up to 500 jobs are set to go. You can't cut hundreds of jobs from our peak national science agency without impacting the future of science in this country.
