Thank you to the Clinton Young Elementary PTO for putting on such a wonderful community holiday event this morning. Thank you to the Southport Basketball players, Southport HS National Honors Society and Key Club Members and Perry Meridian students for volunteering.

Thank you to Southport Middle students and staff for including us in the culmination of their PBL unit. Today they arrived to read to our 1st grade students and brought books and candy canes for each student.

Our students have grown academically, socially and behaviorally over these 100 days…and it appears they have gotten much older.

ROAR - Responsible, On task, Always safe, & Respectful. In January, teachers were looking for students who were above & beyond the expectation for what it looks like to be Respectful. These students received a certificate & a token to use in our new Book Vending Machine.

Our Lion’s are doing big things! These two 3rd graders coded their Mars Rover in PLTW to change colors when it finds “bad” material.

Today we celebrated our February Students of the Month. These students were announced during lunch, received a certificate from their teacher, a free kids meal to a local restaurant and also earned a token to use in our new Book Vending Machine.

We celebrate diversity in our district 🌎 Southport HS held Cultures of Southport Has Talent, a cultural celebration. The show featured more than 80 students who sang, danced and even showcased clothing in a multi-cultural fashion show.
