Had some lovely early evening drinking at AXIS & Free Trade Inn . Cheers to BombGirl and The Ale Trail🌐 DassieGirl1 for the additional sippers. Will still be tasting dill pickle tomorrow but it was well worth it
As usual pizza night at Free Trade Inn is one of the best nights of the week with quality grub and beer. Made even better when Scream For Pizza do a special edition. Tonight’s Aloo curry version almost mysteriously disappeared before I could take a photo
Latest addition to my list of far too drinkable Impy stoots. Loving this Siren Craft Brew Crescendo at Free Trade Inn . Feels like I’m supping Chocolate milk
Watching Paris Roubaix with Pablo Blanco 🇪🇸 . Great racing, big beers but no major Gradients. #drinkthecobbles
As usual Six°North Brewery beers tasting great at the 10th Birthday Beer Takeover at Free Trade Inn . Loving the little twists in flavours & the use of local collaborators
The third hill Côte de Longefoy has the highest average gradient 7.5%, so a classic Kernel Brewery Export Stout London 1890 at 7.4% being drunk alongside. #tdf2023 #drinkingthegradient
The final Hors catégorie Col de la Loze has an average gradient of 6%. I’m going a little bit bigger with a 6.2% Vault City Brewing Raspberry Rocky Road. A suitably lovely crazy drink for a suitably mad tour. #tdf2023 #drinkingthegradient
Bus arriving back , cheers Wor Flags 🏴🏳 #nufc #toonarmy #facup
And so it begins. Early start on the The Lanterne Rouge lambic trail at The Central Bar supping the wonderful Tilquin Mure Rhubarbe
Now at the second lovely stop on the Gateshead leg of the The Lanterne Rouge lambic trail, in AXIS drinking the wonderful burningskybeer Assemblage
Third stop Mean Eyed Cat on The Lanterne Rouge lambic trail. Lovely Oud Beersel Brewery Glũhkriek and a pop tasting of Mills Brewing Today XO 2022
Stop five on The Lanterne Rouge Lambic Trail gets us to the Free Trade Inn for an excellent Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus.
Currently supping the wonderful Gueze Boon at The Cumberland Arms on our final stop on the The Lanterne Rouge lambic trail.
Join us this evening between 6pm and 8pm for the special viewing event to celebrate Endless Forms, Most Beautiful, a new bestiary and herbarium for at risk species by artists from Northern Print. NHSN @berwick_museum RSPB The National Lottery Heritage Fund Arts Council England
