The DeSoto Police Department recently took part in the 15th Annual Fire Truck Pull in Duncanville, Texas. It's a big event that helps raise money for Special Olympics Texas. Our officers had a great time participating and we're looking forward to doing it again next year!

Update: James has been found! One of our officers followed up on a lead from a member of our community who saw him earlier in the day at Burger King on Wheatland Road and Hampton Road in Dallas. Officers conducted a search earlier this morning and found him safe and sound.

UPDATE - Omar Brown was located this afternoon (8/27/2024) around 3:15pm by police in the 200 block of E. Pleasant Run Road, DeSoto, TX. He was unharmed and reunited with his mother. Thank you to the citizens that aided police with Omar's safe return.
