Today marks the first day of Black History Month, acknowledged widely as a month devoted to the celebration of Black stories, contributions and achievements. Schools will host many events & initiatives to celebrate Black History Month, including the Black Futures Speakers Series.

Black and Indigenous community welcomes Khodi Dill and Zoey Roy! This night was about Joy and celebrating Black and Indigenous Excellence!

#DPCDSB and Cardinal Leger Catholic Secondary School welcomed Khodi Dill, author, spoken word poet and anti-racist educator, to lead a discussion on the ways in which we can cultivate and sustain spaces of belonging rooted in social justice.
