Anybody got a good recommendation for a tool for making your own cables? I'm installing a XERC 2 XE in this customer's OG XBOX and would like to make the IR sensor detachable for ease of servicing in the future. I've never had good luck with this particular tool. What say you!?!

Anybody know what kind of bit to order specifically so I can remove these one way screws from this Philips CD-I PSU? My iFixit Manta set doesn't have one. I see some online but don't want to order a bunch of different ones to get the right one and would prefer not to cut them.

Need to replace a connector on a CD-i PSU. Any network techs or electricians have a go-to tool for installing RJ45 connectors? I see a lot online, but I’d rather hear from the pros who do this daily—and got no time for BS tools. LMK! And yes the PSU uses a RJ45 connector. 🤦‍♂️
