This International Day of Charity, let's take a look at our new Strength and Balance Garden. Our residents have absolutely loved getting to use it over the summer, it's been such a great addition. Thank you to everybody that supports us and helps to make this happen.

Sometimes I am reminded how broken our health & social care system is - spent time with a future potential residents wife (& daughter), clearly distraught, clearly at the end of her ability to cope: ‘he doesn’t meet criteria for residential care’ - assessment was over the phone!

Met a resident, in his wheelchair, in the corridor, with our physio. After a ‘slow’ chat he eventually managed to articulate “I raised my 4rse out of the chair” - first time in over two years 👏👏 🦽 #veterans #socialcare #carehomes #heartwarming
