Wonderful Keynote by Rose McCabe at #CACE2024 on communication with people going to emergency department in a mental health crisis where we learn the importance on looking at epistemic/testimonial/hermeneutic injustice, i.e. how people’s experience can be not believe/undermined.

Really loved having a data session at #cace2024 - for the 1st time presenting excepts in English - & thanks to Dr Charlotte Albury for allowing me to bring data on T2D patients’ accounts to GPs in their Annual Diabetic reviews for not being able to do physical activity!
madeleine tremblett at #cace2024 on multiprofessional teams and their negotiation of tasks. Great work thinking of challenges (e.g., hierarchies) & how the conversation unfolds with issues of identities, boundaries and jurisdictions coming in.

A brilliant & thought provoking #cace2024 highlighted the importance of recording clinical encounters to improve healthcare communication. Read our (Brian McMillan Dr Charlotte Albury Dr Shoba Dawson Dr Rebecca Goulding ) blog on preliminary findings on why its tricky and how it might change..
Another exciting addition to the Palgrave Macmillan Studies in DP series, this time focused on practical applications within health care settings. Congratulations to editors Petra Sneijder and Annette Klarenbeek, and all the chapter authors, on a fabulous collection.
Come and join the lovely The voice study team !
