Hi there! Our review on “Mechanotransduction in stem cells” is finally published. With Carsten Schulte we provided a comprehensive picture, that aims to cover the whole mechanotransductive pathway from the cell microenvironment to the nucleus. 1/3 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38729084/
I love this video describing our work led by Erik McShane! Thanks to everyone who helped put it together. cell.com/molecular-cell…
I’m thrilled to share that I will be starting as an Assistant Professor in Biochemistry & Cell Biology—BUMC this July! The Isaac Lab will be using genomics and biochemistry to investigate mitochondrial (and organellar) genome regulation. Recruiting at all levels!
So excited to see this review out 🤩 Had a lot of fun reviewing the field with Karine Choquet Autum Baxter-Koenigs Stirling Churchman. It’s been fascinating to see how far the field’s quantitative understanding of splicing kinetics has advanced in just the last few years 🧫🔬
If you’re interested in what the last few years have taught us about the process of splicing, check out our latest review!Congratulations to my co-authors Hope Eliana Merens Karine Choquet Autum Baxter-Koenigs
So excited to announce our new method for multiplexed RNA imaging in bacterial cells: bacterial-MERFISH! A huge congratulations to the team of Ari Sarfatis, Yuanyou Wang, and Nana Twumasi-Ankrah! Check out the following thread or our bioRxiv (biorxiv.org/content/10.110…) 1/12
🎉Our paper quantifying how RNA flows across subcellular compartments is published! 🎉 Read more in the preprint thread ⬇️ The paper contains an improved analysis of RNA flow rates and new collaborative work on DDX3X with Stephen Floor authors.elsevier.com/a/1jMoV3vVUPRm… Molecular Cell
