I was thrilled to be invited by Dr. Heather Norman-Burgdolf (PhD) to be part of this exciting project, & even more thrilled to see the impact in print! Thanks for using our book ‘Is Butter a Carb’ to support your goal of improving nutrition literacy 👏 Open access paper: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
Georgina Burton and Dr. Ruth Knight present a theoretically-informed understanding of how social media influences body image at #ISTP2024. Super cool results! Social media applies to all parts of tripartite influence model. Related : doi.org/10.1371/journa…

It's #arfid awareness day, and the British Dietetic Association has a new BDA Mental Health Specialist Group subgroup. The role dietitians have in supporting those with arfid is growing rapidly, and the group has developed a number of resources to support families already. I'm proud to be part of the group.
Check out our NEW publication in Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics on #weightstigma in UK dietitians. This is the largest study to date examining explicit & implicit #weightstigma in dietitians & 1st exploring lived experiences towards themselves & others. See thread 1/6 onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…
