1. Our paper on lithium in drinking water and suicides in Switzerland was just accepted for publication. It is to our knowledge the first pre-registered study on this topic. We found a near perfect null-result.

Are people more moral than they think? As a 'registered report' high-powered extended replication (N=3,220), I am happy to share that our paper on the moral forecasting error, led by my talented PhD student Simen Bø, has been published in JESP. Conclusion: Mostly successful ✅

Hot out of press: prevalence rates for childhood maltreatment (CM) in Germany! In a nationwide sample of 6,433, 18 to 31 year olds 18.4% reported at least one type of CM. Huge differences in the prevalence of CMs depending on the subjective social status. See table below.

“Between-group analyses at 9-months follow-up were significantly in favour of DBT-PTSD compared to CPT with small to medium effect sizes on all outcomes ranging from d = 0.35 on the CAPS to d = 0.57 on the BSL-23 and GAF.” tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.108…
