I hadn’t heard any Ashes cricket but grabbed a tiny bit of TMS and heard an Aussie wicket the first ball I listened to. And the 2nd ball! Heard the hat trick ball but had to go. Just checked and no further wickets. I’m available if England would like me to attend their matches 😃

I’m not typically a tv concert watcher but I have really enjoyed Elton John at Glastonbury. What a performance from him and his band. I’m already feeling sorry for whoever is booked to fill this slot next year - nearly impossible to compete!

Looking fwd to proposing an amendment at Council next Wednesday as MSDC Conservative leader which says NO to the Lib Dem/ Independent cabinet proposals to increase car park charges by 30% in East Grinstead and 20% in Haywards Heath and says NO to introducing evening & Sunday fees

Mum’s flight home from Joburg was delayed 24 hours and queues at 2nd check in were 4+ hours. She was feeling v stressed alone. A young family said ‘Aunty you are with us of course’ & took her to the front along with them, she was so grateful but never even got to know their name!

Some mindless idiot has thought it ok to fly tip this onto the edge of our back garden. Private land so council won’t clear. It’s not commercial, would have been much easier for them to go to tip, now we’ll have to pay to get rid of it. Why are some people so senseless? 🤷‍♂️

I’m very disappointed that Mid Sussex District Council have introduced a charge for road closures for Remembrance services. It was always done free of charge, the real work is done for free by parish/ town councils and the Royal British Legion. Please can Mid Sussex District Council reconsider?
