Francesc Vendrell, one of the finest persons I have known, died yesterday, 82 years old. He served the global community - the UN & the EU - in conflicts and wars around the entire globe, including in Afghanistan. He meant so much to so many. RIP, Francesc. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…
