by the way, the reason why this looks so crisp is because it’s from a professional rescan from Kineko Video ! if you’re interested in older anime and dissatisfied with how studios like toei treat their older IPs (DBZ green tint ring a bell? lol) you should check them out!

Just won another 80s live-action JP movie on film yesterday. This one I've actually been wanting to sub it at some point & it's stuck on VHS/LD. The reels in question are 16mm—35mm would have been preferable but I'll take what I can get. I'll share more info at a later date.
