At this evenings Knowsley Council meeting the Leader of KMBC was asked five questions from councillors, he declined to answer four of them, instead asking cabinets members to respond for him. What is the point in having the option to ask the leader questions if he won’t answer?

Knowsley Green Party commends lan Byrne MP (one of the MP’s who covers part of Knowsley) for voting to scrap the two-child benefit cap. We are incredibly disappointed to learn Anneliese Midgley MP Marie Rimmer MP & Derek Twigg voted to keep 300,00 children in poverty.

In 2017, The Labour Party said that 4,000 pensioners could die if Winter Fuel Payments became means tested. Two million pensioners will be pushed into fuel poverty as a result of this cold heartless government. Silence from Labour Knowsley
