Brought the cailíní to Dublin for a few days and seriously what has happened our capital city? It's derelict, filthy, rubbish everywhere and gangs of intimidating people hanging around, many clearly off their heads. Not a nice place to be esp with young children. Feels v unsafe.

The trail along Blackstones bridge (Glencar Kerry) one of my favourite spots as a child. Teaming with brightly coloured dragon & damselflies today. Herons and cormorant too 😍

The only negative on our fabulous cycle today around Caragh Lake was seeing the amount of rhododendron covering the mountains all around - an ecological disaster 😯
