Most of these photographers that I’ve encountered at events only capture the well known people and don’t really care about telling the story and capturing the key moment

If you want to script influencers, let them know before they shoot. Don’t script them after they send content for approval. Content approval is a process that makes sure that an influencer has honoured the terms and conditions of the brief.

If you’re building a personal brand, don’t make the mistake of thinking that a videographer & photographer are creative strategist. Some can be, but most won’t be. You need a strategist who will design and manage the building of your brand.

Creator Business: Both parties are required to honour the contract, not just the influencer. If client takes long to approve work, a creator can’t be expected to adhere to the agreed deliverable dates, as the campaign rollout has changed due to client extending the approval
