Also, I mean, the 2017 confidence and supply deal between the BC Green Party and BC NDP was literally a backroom deal for power too, negotiations in secret, agreements in private, so I mean... lets just retire this phrase "backroom deal" It's dumb. This is politics.

🧵 I moved to Victoria in 2007 to take a job with the BC Gov Caucus, & eventually for Cabinet Ministers of the day. During my early time and the BC Legislature, Shirley Bond 🇺🇦 had already become a legend for her hard work and tenacity. 1/6

Thanks CBC News Gloria Macarenko & Steve Zhang for the interview. BC United's campaign suspension has shocked our community. Despite this, the unwavering support from Steveston residents has been heartening. I remain committed to representing you & fighting for a better future.

Did I just hear the Province has renamed “safe supply” as “lifesaving medication”? Just as long as we all understand 192 “poisoning deaths” in BC in July 2024. Supervised, supported medication is one thing. Continuing to fill the streets with lower cost opioids is insanity.

Just a thought to all those messaging me asking me and others to run independent and give options back to the people in BC since options were taken away. I hear you. And I was loyal to the end. I didn’t leave my party - it left me.

I’m thrilled to be part of a team that can challenge the NDP head-on. This government doesn’t care about rural B.C. and we’re going to make sure that culture changes. #bcpoli

So redoing all the funding agreements that impact property taxation at the same time? Another provincial download people can’t afford. Rural transit costs are poor value.

Even if you have to plug your nose, get out and vote. Choose the candidate who you believe will work for you, who can best represent your diverse riding & lives in it, who doesn’t need a job, and one who is honest. Wait, that’s me - still undecided 😆 #bcpoli

Personally incensed that John Rustad, Kevin Falcon & David Eby think they can shuffle good people around like pieces on a chessboard. Principled individuals including Alexandra Wright have every right to fight back. Kevin Acton Vernon-Lumby is my principled choice. #bcpoli
