Miles & miles away from proper funding in the North. Almost like politicians are scared of the Artists in NI or is it that once artists move away from the feel good factor & start probing it becomes problematic. Arts are for everyone but Artists are unique. & need proper support.

Jimmy Fay The problem is that the arts are regarded as a hobby here. There are no clear career pathways, almost no agents for scriptwriters (of any genre) and fiction writers (other than crime fiction), and very limited paid opportunities for writers.
