the absolute unbearable heart-wrenching pain of reading students’ texts to their parents during the Apalachee High School shooting. our youth are experiencing complex trauma from the ongoing threat of gun violence, & still, those in power do nothing.

Those brave babies in Georgia had to drag their teacher’s body out from the hallway back into the classroom and barricade themselves inside while waiting for help and also try and perform trauma care. The teacher died right in front of them waiting for help.
