We visited an extraordinary piece of archaeology at IWM Duxford today. This wall art from the 92nd Bomb Group is preserved inside a Duxford hangar.

The reality of the Dams raid really comes home if you can view the targets from the Bomb Aimers perspective. In this case, the towers of the Mohne Dam are just visible from the business side of the attack run. Here, we broke down the individual crew tasks during the bomb run.

It was a genuine pleasure to lead this USAFE-AFAFRICA Staff Ride for Battle Honours. Op Chastise really captured the group's imagination. The 1943 mission offered a host of discussion points relevant to current Airpower. We all learned a lot from the history and each other.

This is great work, keeping the story alive and adding to the heritage of the Mighty Eighth in East Anglia...
