Neymar aside, Raphinha’s been Brazil’s most consistent player over the past 2/3 years, and he’s arguably playing the best football of his career right now. Was suspended, but it’s clear that they miss his effectiveness.

I was against this at the time, but in retrospect, Laporta and Co were spot on for trying to make it happen. Would’ve been such a significant sale, man.

Rarely do this, but my brother (who’s a very accomplished AI engineer) just wrote an intriguing article. He wouldn’t want me sharing this, but I had to. pub.towardsai.net/how-does-ai-wo…

Our most important contract renewal (of the ones up in 2026) remains Ronald Araújo. I know he’s coming off an underwhelming season, but the profile remains invaluable — I still rate him highly as one of the best high line defenders around, also reckon he’ll thrive under Flick.

Great news, but even when he’s back—gotta take a few months to ease him into it. I’m assuming we’ll see his minutes progressively increase from November, but I’d be absolutely fine if he doesn’t start until the new year. Just hope we get his integration absolutely spot on.

I’ve got high hopes for Oduro, heard nothing but good things about him — could definitely see him being the fill-in for Balde we so desperately need, and that’s just in the short term. Know for a fact that club sees him as someone with first team potential.

Far from any assurances that he’ll ever get back to it, but this version of Fati would be a star for any side on the planet — still only 21, as well. Confident, clinical, direct — a sniff at goal, and the keepers already picking the ball outta the net. He’s gotta be in there…

This is the perfect way to respond to stiff competition, both off the pitch and on it. He talked the talked, and he stood on business, knowing full well that he’s adaptable enough to thrive regardless. Love Raphinha, man!

Whenever he’s truly back, be it in one, three or six months time, Gavi will transform our entire dynamic. We might not even see his best self until the new season, and that’s fine, because when he eventually finds himself — the wait will be well worth it. Patience.

La Liga’s latest update confirms that Barça have more than doubled their salary cap from last season — we’ve gone from €204m to €426m. I’ve been very critical of Laporta, but credit where it’s due — there’s no negative spin on this. The Nike deal should raise it even more.

Madrid still well clear, but this is significant. Should the Nike deal + some of the other economic contracts become official by the end of the year, we’d see our salary cap increase pretty significantly for the winter update. We’re almost there…

Couldn’t be more poetic, they’ve got to make it happen. It only makes perfect sense. Would make the game significantly more hyped, as well.
