Today I have to say goodbye to a very faithful friend. My iPod nano has gotten me through over 30,000 miles of training runs in the last 15 yrs. It has readily endured almost every weather element possible to help me reach my running goals. I will miss you greatly! ❤️❤️

After reading Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae, my ⁦Sean Corey⁩ kindergarteners had a great discussion about what makes each of us unique and a growth mindset. I love how they all wanted to share about things they were good at, but also things they couldn’t do YET!

Took advantage of CO Dept of Education Initiative to support Covid-19 learning loss by offering $1000 grants through DonorsChoose and already got funded for $998.75 worth of materials! I can't wait to use them in my classroom. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!

So exciting to come into my classroom this morning and see these awesome O & M carpenters already hard at work installing new backpack hooks for all of my students! So grateful for all that this department does to make our schools a great place to learn! #StVrainStorm

Got this sweet card from 1 of my kindergartners yesterday. He let me take in the kindness of his gesture before letting me know there was just 1 stipulation-I could keep it for “Say, about 5 weeks” before I needed to pass it on to the next person he had written on the note. 😂

This week kindergartners learned about what it means to be a Good Citizen through a study of multiple versions of The Little Red Hen. We ended the week reading Cook-A-Doodle-Do!and then practiced being good citizens by each taking part in making strawberry shortcake. Yummy!!😀
