Matt Chapman was scratched, the Giants say. Brett Wisely moves to third and Tyler Fitzgerald is at short and batting cleanup. Fitzgerald was originally getting a rest day.

Zac Gallen threw six no-hit innings but a high pitch count ended his night. On the second pitch the Giants saw from the bullpen, Tyler Fitzgerald hit a single up the middle.

Breaking news: The Giants have agreed to a six-year $151 million extension with Matt Chapman.

Chapman will earn $25 million each season through 2030 and get a $1 million signing bonus next year. Scott Boras clients almost always test free agency, but Chapman loves it here and the Giants didn’t want to let him get back to free agency.
