119 years ago, Marian Rejewski was born. Together with Henryk Zygalski and Jerzy Różycki, he became a hero of WWII. In 1932, through Rejewski’s use of combinatorics in cryptology, they broke the cipher of the German #Enigma, which was used for encrypting military messages.
