On behalf of the PA Leg Black Caucus, I joined Rep. Rick Krajewski in Centre County to discuss keeping voting access open to incarcerated individuals with corrections officials and fellow advocates. They must know that their voice is not only wanted at the polls but is needed.

Yesterday I stopped by Centre County with Rep. Aerion Abney and PA Leg Black Caucus to see their exemplary voting in jail procedures. As November approaches, we’re calling on more jails to adopt similar nonpartisan voting policies. Incarcerated voters must have access to the ballot!

Here in West Philly, we know what it’s like when billionaire developers try to displace us. Black and Asian communities cannot and will not be pitted against each other. When you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. No arena in Chinatown!
