An underrated but very smart moth - Scalloped Hazel Odontoptera bidentata in Dorset last night.

I was leaning over the pond to photograph a Small China-mark - Cataclysta lemnata, when I heard a slight rustle. Then, I nearly fell in when I realised there was a Water Shrew in my pond. It was so busy I was lucky to get a shot of it. Never seen one before!!
