Looking forward to performing Schmitt’s 1817 transcription of Beethoven’s first symphony for 11 winds tomorrow on the Isle of Raasay. I’m certain that this will be the first ever performance of a Beethoven symphony on the island. Tomorrow at 11 in the community hall! ⁦
