Euro 24, a tournament defined by Gareth being Gareth. England clearly have the talent but Southgate lacks the killer instinct of a winner, the tactical nouse to compete or change a game when it matters, & ultimately, came up short at every pivotal moment through his 8 yr tenure

A healthy and realistic thread / advice for many artists that may struggle financially but wish for longevity within their field. Statistically the odds of being successful/ self sufficient are slim so that “Plan B”may keep you creative and fluid until Plan A kicks in🙏

With promoters continuing to stack line ups (clubs and festivals) I am seeing more B2B’s…even B2B2B’s…sometimes these sets are less than 2 hours. Which means you travel and then get to play 8-12 records… if you are lucky. How do DJ’s feel about this continuing trend?

Normally for a performance with a rigid set list that cannot be adapted or extended beyond 60 minutes! I would debate that this is not actually DJ’ing.

I've been saying this for years man. Last thing I wanna do is drive 3-4 hours to play a b2b for 1 hour. If it's a B2B you need to multiply the set length by as many dj's you have playing on the set. AT LEAST!! Should never be more DJ's on the lineup than hours in the night.

Midland - Final Credit on Regraded. 2016…the 12” is now £50+ on Discog. Clearly limited vinyl runs are future collectables. I am continuing to see insane resale prices.

Sampling is a legit process in the making music process. Don’t let misinformation kill a great idea at birth. Reaching back for inspiration can lead to a positive outcome, & some of the greatest recordings of our times have been creatively “borrowed” with incredible results 🙏.
